Yes you read that right, I'm skipping 8 months. Why? Because I have no pictures of Mallory at 8 months! I have no idea why!!!! I am missing a memory card though and I suspect thats where those pictures are *sad face* I vow to never let that happen again!

A look back.... 7 Months

Hope everyone is having a great week! Here are a couple pictures of Mallory at 7 months old.

Salt Dough Ornaments

  

Over the past week John helped Mallory make salt dough ornaments to give to her grandparents as gifts. It was so easy and fun and we had all the ingredients on hand.

Ingredients:

4 cups of flower
1 cup of salt
1 and 1/2 cups of hot water

Warning, this makes a LOT of ornaments. Feel free to half it!

Directions:

1: Mix ingredients to form dough, roll 1/4 inch thick.

2. Use cookie cutters to cut a variety of shapes. We used snowmen, gingerbread men, stockings, and stars. I wish we had Christmas trees.

3. Use and microwave safe plate and microwave for 1 minute at a time, for up to 4 minutes. Longer if you need to but they will be hard when they are done.

4. Decorate! Use ribbon to hang. (John used pipe cleaners for some reason? I'm not a fan...)

I have a lot of posts to do if I want to get this caught up by Mallorys birthday! Which, by the way, she talks about EVERY day.

Christmas Funday Sunday

Over the weekend I helped host a baby shower, but Sunday is when all the real fun began. We put up our Christmas tree, ate brownies, and took Mallory to her first Christmas parade. She loved it SO much and she cried so much when we left :(
